Hi dear readers; today I will present you my new Fall/Winter project list; the format will be different from my previous project lists. As you know my time has been very short and I really can’t tell for how long this situation will endure… To save your expectations (and mine!), this will be a short list containing only the current project, the best candidates to the next project and the finished items. The truth is: in spite of my increasingly short time, my mind has been overloaded with ideas and my little apartment is now stacked with fabric… There are so many projects in my wish list that this post would become unrealistically long for the actual time schedule perspectives. Based on this, I decided to keep a different format and build this list along the way.

Finished projects (20):

Patrones n247mod#30: Overall coat by Félix Mediano

BWOF0709mod#116A: Pleated skirt (Orange Extravaganza)

Top BWOFJan2009 mod106B (Vanilla&Chocolate)

This list will be updated along the way so I’ll be keeping a link on the sidebar, along with the past Project lists. Thank you all for visiting!

Really nice plaid. Do you buy fabric locally or do you mail order from other countries?

Great projects! I can't wait to see those plaid pants!

Tany, this is a very realistic approach. I sometimes have to tame my thinking because I know I definitely do not have time to actually do all the projects I would like. This is sometimes disappointing!
I love your garments pattern choices and think they will make a wonderful outfit.

I was wondering if you would go back and continue on with the projects listed last autumn/winter. In the meantime, I suppose all sorts of new ideas have pushed themselves forward. I hope you do get enough time to feed your passion :)) Love seeing what you do.

I look forward to seeing the outcome of these projects.

Excelente!

Tany, as the coat looks very sophisticated so the the plaid suit is absolutely quirky - really look forward seeing those projects.

The plaid suit is going to be amazing. I love the orange a lot.

Obrigada a todas!
Thank you all!

Nancy K: I buy most of my fabric locally (such is the case for this fabric). I also buy online (I found out about an English supplier that sells high quality fabrics for tailoring on eBay and bought a few yards from him and I also ordered some wool crepe from Candlelight Fabrics in the US). The fabric offer from the US is quite appealing but I have to pay high custom taxes.

Vicki: I also plan to go back and pick some of the projects from my past fall/winter list, but right now I need/want some transitional suits for fall... At least the Vogue coat with the wide collar is a must for me and I plan on making it for this winter!

My fall sewing list has dwindled to one thing! Ha. But that's ok.

I like that plaid a lot! It's going to make a very cool suit with edge (which is good). I also can't wait to see that velvet coat done--I just love it--the pattern, the fabric, the color (of course!), and the buttons. It's too bad you have to work so much right now (but I hope that's going well for you too).

Obrigada pelo teu carinho, Fernanda!

Lisa (LMH): Well, my time constraints aren't really helping on the cause of making a lot of garments... I hope things get better soon :)
