EN Summary: Chanel buttons (the authentic ones) are exclusive, rare and very expensive and play an important part in the Classic French Jacket allure. I’m not using real Chanel buttons on my jacket but want to choose the buttons which will complement the design better and make for an unforgettable couture jacket. Even so, I must not forget the practicality of the buttons: on this jacket I plan on making Chanel-style handworked buttonholes so it is important to know the size of the buttonhole and if it will be compatible with the fabric that I’m using.

Não vou usar botões Chanel verdadeiros mas queria escolher uns que complementassem o design da minha jaqueta e estivessem dentro do espírito de uma jaqueta Chanel. Na escolha não posso esquecer as questões práticas que se prendem com a utilização dos botões: se planeio fazer casas de botão estilo Chanel (que são feitas à mão), o tamanho da casa e a sua compatibilidade com o tecido que está a ser usado tem e deve ser tomado em conta.
