Mais um vestido para as férias:
Modelo original: Burda Julho 2008 mod120
Tecido usado: jersey preto fino
Modificações: Aumentei o comprimento 25cm e tornei a linha da saia ligeiramente “evasé “, para maior liberdade de movimentos. Também acrescentei um elástico na orla superior.
A única parte menos fácil das dos passos de construção é coser o vestido à argola; se antes passarem um pesponto solto para franzir ao longo da orla que vai envolver a argola, torna-se muito mais fácil. Também alinhavei tudo no lugar antes de utilizar o pé calcador especial para fechos (zípers) para coser a costura em torno da argola.
A argola compra-se em qualquer casa de decoração (é uma argola de madeira para cortinados).
Conclusão: Um modelo muito fácil e ultra-rápido de confeccionar, que só gasta cerca de 1,30m de tecido. Em três horas tinha um vestido pronto e gastei menos de 10 euros na sua confecção. Até à próxima!

Fabric: lightweight jersey
Alterations: I lengthened the dress about 10 inches and modified the pattern to a slight A-line, for ease of movement. I also added a casing and elastic around the upper edge
The only step that can be considered “not so easy” is the stitching of the fabric around the ring; it was an easier task after stitching a row or two of easing stitches and then basting it all together with a few running stitches, prior to machine stitching. The instructions only mention using the zipper foot to stitch the fabric around the ring.
The ring is just a regular curtain wood ring.
Conclusion: A fast and easy “instant gratification” dress that only takes about 1,5yrds of knit fabric and less than 3 hours to put together (including the tracing of the pattern). I estimate its total cost to be less than $12!
