I won't sew today; my boss asked me to do some extra time at work so no sewing until tomorrow; this is too bad because I was willing to trace the pattern and cut the muslin by today *sigh*. Still, I did manage to find some time during the morning to go shopping for notions and yarn; here are the notions for the dress:
Comprei dois tipos de renda diferentes (não decidi ainda qual usar ou se usarei os dois), um colchete forrado e o fecho invisível de 60cm; na figura podem ver também o tecido risca-de-giz, a entretela e o forro em cima da entretela. Também podem ver o pano cru que vou usar para fazer a musselina à esquerda.
I bought two different lace trims (I haven't yet decided which to use or if I'll use both), a covered hook&eye and the 0,6m invisible zipper; in the picture there are also the pinstriped fabric, the fusible interfacing and the lining on top of it. The muslin fabric on the left, under the fashion fabric.
Isto não foi tudo o que comprei… Já a seguir mostrarei o resto!
This is not all; I still have more to show you (next post is on its way!)!

Hi Tany I wonder why you need a covered hook and eye closure? The covered hook and eye closures I know of are very large and not sufficient for a dress but maybe you can buy different ones in Portugal. I will sent you an email .
Els: the thing is that I'm allergic to most metals... You can see the covered hook/eye in the picture, they are not too big I think... Maybe I don't need them at all because the zipper closure is on the back and not subject to as much stress as if it was in the side.
Isto é que foi uma manha cheia de compras! Muito bem! Gostei das rendas, achoq ue foram bem escolhidas.
