EN: The skirt pattern used is Burdastyle 2022/12 model 117, traced in size 40 and shortened the length around 1"1/2 (due to the short amount of fabric and also because the original length wasn't flattering on my leg shape). The waistband was lengthened to create a small overlap to be able use a button instead of the longer zipper. One other thing I did differently: I stitched down the pleats to flatten the tummy area (still having second thoughts about this though).

PT: O molde da saia que usei vem na revista Burdastyle 12/2022, modelo 117. Cortei o tamanho 40, encurtando um pouco a saia (além de o tecido ser pouco, o comprimento original não me favorecia devido á forma da minha perna). Aumentei um pouco o cós para criar um trespasse e usar um botão, em vez de um fecho invisível mais comprido. Outra coisa que fiz diferente foi coser as pregas em cima, para a área do estômago ficar mais plana (ainda não tenho a certeza se foi a melhor opção...).

EN: I like the shape of this skirt very much; I think it would make a lovely midi-skirt too. To take full advantage of the A-line effect, the use of a fabric which holds its shape is mandatory.

PT: Gosto bastante da forma desta saia: acho que também daria uma saia midi muito original. Para tirar o máximo partido da forma evasé do modelo, deve-se usar tecidos encorpados na confeção desta saia.

EN: I am trying to use as much fabric & notions from my stash as possible; I didn't have a long enough invisible zipper so I created an overlap and used a button on the waistband.

EN: Instead of applying a hanging lining, I decided to bag it (sewing it all by sewing machine, including sewing the lining to the hem of the skirt). With a bagged lining it's important to create a horizontal ease pleat so the lining won't pull the skirt up when bending or sitting down:

EN: The top pattern used is my TNT Le500 by DP Studio, that I've sewn several times already (also available in pdf format, click here). This top offers two versions: one has a round neckline and neckline facing and is not lined; the alternative version is sewing a full lined top with a turtleneck collar. The next photos show the inner details. Note that the facings were cut from a similar fabric in black (I didn't have enough fuchsia fabric left for the facings) and I also used a small remnant of black lining instead of buying the extra purple lining.

PT: O molde do top é o Le500 de DP Studio, que já usei por diversas vezes (também há este molde em pdf, cliquem aqui). Este molde tem duas versões possíveis: uma tem uma gola redonda chegada ao pescoço, acabada com vista interior, e não é forrada; a outra versão tem gola-alta e é completamente forrada. As fotos seguintes mostram os detalhes do interior do top; notem que as vistas foram cortadas num tecido semelhante em preto (não me sobrou tecido púrpura suficiente) e também usei um resto de forro preto em vez de comprar forro púrpura a mais.
