EN: The top was made with the remnant fabric from the Aude skirt shown in my last post (here) and fabric left from the black Jade dress (here). I like the top better coordinated with the black Théo pants (I realize now that I failed wrote the sewing review for this kit, but there's a photo of me wearing it on my IG here) than with the Aude skirt (the latter combo having too much draping calling for attention, in my opinion).

EN: Regarding the neckline, I didn't have any knit ribbing around so I used the simplest technique, which worked well for this fabric: just made a narrow hem along the neckline, first hand-basting, then pressing to shape the fabric, top-stitching and finally giving it a final press. It turned out really well, in my opinion:

PT: Quanto ao decote, como não tinha banda de malha canelada para aplicar, resolvi usar a técnica mais simples, desde que se adaptasse bem ao tecido; neste caso fiz uma bainha estreita, primeiro alinhavando-a, depois assentando bem a ferro para lhe dar forma, depois pespontei e finalmente assentei novamente a ferro; na minha opinião, resultou bastante bem:
CONCLUSION: It's a quick and easy project: the base pattern resembles a wide t-shirt; however simple, it gains some extra style points for its unusual pleating, high-low hem and asymmetry. The pattern can be used with many types of fabrics, including knits, but I would pick a material with a certain body to better enhance the volume and draping of the front. CONCLUSÃO: É uma peça fácil e rápida de confecionar: a sua base é a de uma espécie de t-shirt larga, mas ganha pontos na originalidade com o pregueado fora do vulgar, bainha arredondada inclinada e assimetria. Podem usar diferentes tipos de tecidos para confecionar este top, incluindo malhas, mas na minha opinião, os melhores resultados serão conseguidos com tecidos com um certo corpo, que evidenciarão o volume das pregas e do drapeado.
