PT: Foi dificil escolher um modelo desta edição, pois a maioria dos modelos agradam-me bastante; para as mais avançadas, a revista contém três moldes de alfaiataria (um sobretudo cintado, um blazer com efeito drapeado na frente e uma jaqueta com linhas princesa, gola de alfaiate e cós aplicado), um vestido midi para senhoras altas que adorei, uma série de tops e blusas desde a mais básica de alcinhas até blusas de mangas tufadas, saias-lápis com múltiplas pinças na cintura e saias evasé de oito paineis (uma interpretação de godés metidos nas costuras verticais e outra com folhinhos, também metidos nas costuras), um molde de calças skinny de napa elástica, outro molde de calças com pinças nas bainhas (muito giro!) e duas interpretações para um molde de calças direitas, das quais escolhi a versão cargo em tecido liso com bolsos de chapa com paletas decorativas, presilhas nas bainhas e cinto com alrgolas D:

EN: Picking a pattern to highlight from this issue wasn't easy because it is packed with patterns that appeal to me: there are three tailored patterns right up my alley (a very nice waisted coat, a blazer with draped front and a jacket with princess lines, tailored collar/lapels and waistband); there's a midi dress for tall women that I really like; there's a series of interesting tops (from the very basic tank with spaghetti straps to a puffed sleeve blouse); there are pencil skirts with multiple waist darts and a eight-panel A-line skirt (two options: one with added godets and other with frills applied in the vertical seams); there's a skinny jeans pattern (made from stretchy pleather), pants with darted hems (very nice!) and two options for a straight pant model, from which I picked the cargo pants option with large patch pockets with decorative flaps, hem straps and belt with D-rings:
PT: A primeira imagem que me veio à cabeça quando vi este molde foram estas calças usadas na passerele pela Gigi Hadid no desfile de Primavera-Verão 2019 da Fendi em Milão. As calças, bem ao estilo utilitário, são confecionadas de sarja de composição mista de algodão em tom areia e possuem múltiplos bolsos (reparem que atrás têm também dois bolsos-chapa e um cinto/pega que interliga com um bolso de lado, tudo detalhes fáceis de acrescentar ao molde da revista BurdaStyle). Os punhos nas pernas têm elásticos e cordões ajustáveis, e o cós elástico tem um canal para um cinto de lona com o logo da marca gravado e uma fivela estilo "mochila". Estas calças custam 910€ no Net-a-Porter com 30% de desconto!

EN: The first image that came to mind when I noticed this pattern was the photo of Gigi Hadid on the Fendi SS19 runaway in Milan, wearing a very similar style cargo pants. The utilitarian-style Fendi pants are made of cotton-blend drill and are decorated with a multitude of pockets and straps (notice that there are patch pockets on the back and a strap that connects with the side patch pocket). The leg cuffs have elastic casings and adjustable drawstrings, and the elasticized waistband is threaded with a long logo-intarsia belt. Some of these details are really easy to replicate on the BurdaStyle pattern, in my opinion. These pants are selling on Net-a-Porter for 910€ (1019 USD) with a 30% discount!

PT: Outra ideia, desta vez inspirada nestas calças da coleção de Outono de 2019 da Chloé, é confecionar as calças de ganga escura com pespontos decorativos. Estas calças têm uma costura divisória na frente das pernas, um encaixe atrás e bolsos de chapa assimétricos à frente e atrás. O cós tem passadeiras para passar um cinto. Estes Jeans "utilitários" custam 790€ no Net-a-Porter e são fáceis de reproduzir com o nosso molde BurdaStyle.

EN: Another style idea is inspired by these Chloé jeans from the Fall 2019 Chloé collection. Why not make the pants from dark denim with contrasting top-stitching details? The Chloé pants have more seam detailing on the front, asymmetric patch pockets both on the front and back and a jeans placket on the back. The waistband has belt loops. These utilitarian style jeans cost 790€ on Net-a-Porter and are easily replicated using our BurdaStyle pattern as a base.
PT: As calças cargo "Flight" de Helmut Lang também têm detalhes interessantes que podemos replicar no modelo da Burda: as pernas são mais ajustadas e têm zípers metálicos expostos na frente, por cima das bainhas. Os bolsos de chapa também fecham com estes zípers e além de adornarem as calças à frente e atrás, existem também bolsos de lado em baixo nas pernas:

EN: The Helmut Lang "Flight" cargo pants also offer some inspirational details, easy to replicate on the BurdaStyle pants: the legs are slightly tapered and have exposed metallic zippers below on the front; there are patch pockets on the front, back and down on the side; the front and side patch pockets have metallic zipper closures.
PT: Inspirados nestas calças cargo em couro de Alexander Wang, podem acrescentar zípers nas pernas que permitam converter as calças em calções e assim tornar a peça ainda mais versátil. Gostei também dos bolsos "fole" e da cor das calças. Para o verão, em vez de couro podem optar por um tecido fino e encerado, por exemplo.

EN: Inspired by these Alexander Wang's convertible leather cargo pants, zippers can be added to the legs obtaining a more versatile garment which turns into shorts. I also love the expandable pleated pockets and the black color of the pants. For summer, instead of using leather I'd use thin waxed fabric, for example.
PT: A última ideia é inspirada nestas cargo em cetim cor-de.rosa de Sies Marjan: porque não usar cetim e uma cor diferente, como o cor-de-rosa (também a cor escolhida pela revista BurdaStyle!)? Aqui temos bolsos de chapa com fole grandes de lado e umas presilhas sobre os bolsos com tiras compridas para fechar as paletas; os bolsos na frente são metidos na diagonal e adornados com paletas e atrás, o mesmo tipo de bolsos mas desta vez na horizontal.

EN: The last style idea is inspired by these pink Sies Marjan's satin cargo pants: why not make the cargo pants from satin and opt for a different color, like pink (as the BurdaStyle pants!)? These pants feature huge expandable patch pockets with straps on the sides, slanted welt pockets with flaps on the front and the same type of pockets on the back, but placed horizontally instead.

I love those pink satin pants! I'd love to see more from this issue.
I love the Helmut Lang cargo pants, jeans the best. I will of course not get my August Burda until the middle of August. The company that distributed it hear went out of business and the new distributor doesn't seem to have figured out how to get it out in a timely fashion. At least I am getting it!
