Os meus agradecimentos à May (ela sabe porquê!)

I think for most of you this model doesn’t need introducing; it’s from Vogue Knitting Winter06/07 and was a huge hit when the magazine came out.

My version is slightly modified because I added half a pentagon under the sleeves (it felt like something was missing there). I knitted the smallest size using US9 needles and 8 skeins (100g each) of Rosarios 4 Cordatta Print. I really love how it came out and I plan on knitting this model again using off-white yarn. This model is now available for sale here.

That is GORGEOUS!!! I just love your blog. It is one of my favorites because you show detailed steps of your projects and that helps me alot. I don't knit, but I saw that Vogue pattern awhile ago and I wanted to see it made up. Knitting is next on my list to learn, though.

LOL! You are just *not* going to believe this, but I bought that magazine when it first came out with the intention of (you guessed it!) making that very sweater! I haven't had time to knit for several years, but I suppose I'll have to make time in 2009! We have been thinking way too much alike recently. I love the green much better than the beige/grey original and looks fabulous with your coloring.

This is absolutely amazing! I love the rich emerald green and the pattern. You have styled it just right!

Super. Where do you find the time? do you knit on your way to work?

Tini said...

Amazing. I mean I have the feeling of beeing productive at the moment but you do SEW AND KNIT so many beautiful things, that I'm sitting here with my mouth gaping wide open. I bet you are the reasons why some of your readers strive to be better sewists and knitters!

Oh Tany, honestly, where do you find the time? But you're probably more disciplined (well, more than I am most definitely). Great top, though, I like the two-tone effect.

Tany,
When I grow up, I want to knit and sew just like you!!!
Only problem is, I'm probably close to being old enough to be your mom!
You DID inspire me to make that orange one. I'm hoping to be able to wear it NEXT winter - our season to wear such things will be over by the end of January, and I'm a little out of practice, and I'm just not as FAST as you! I'm not sure anyone is.

I love your version!! You look very cute in it. Congratulations!
This pattern is really nice and intriguing but requires a bit of tinkering isn't it? Yours turned out really nice and wearable. Perhaps, I will try once again to make one for me. :)

Bem...Bem...Bem...

Beautiful! And the colour is to die for, one of the most beautiful shades of green I've ever seen. Your hair is longer, you seem to have lost weight... you look absolutely gorgeous!
