But I am still very happy with how the jacket has turned out; I think the stripes misplacement (kind of shifting down) actually creates a pleasing effect to the eye.

PT: Poderia ter feito um melhor trabalho a casar as riscas na frente, mas mesmo assim não fiquei desapontada com o resultado final; não tinha muito tecido para jogar e além do mais queria aproveitá-lo ao máximo para fazer um conjunto. Também podia ter alterado os bolsos para bolsos de chapa... No entanto creio que o resultado até ficou muito agradável à vista, com o efeito descendente das riscas na frente.
