Vestido amarelo açafrão (Burda Maio 2008 mod104) - Saffron yellow dress (May2008 BWOF mod104)

Português
English (uncheck the other box and check this one)

O forro do tronco:

Description: close fitting jersey dress has V-neckline, self-fabric lined bodice and a waistband detail with a buckle. You can see the original model here.

I made this dress following an impulse, after spending some days away from home (I had to travel on a very short notice). I needed something easy and quick (because time has been really short these days) so this dress came to mind. It took an afternoon to get it done. I was inspired by this post by Ana Carina about the yellow trend.

A few details:

The waist buckle:

The gathered horizontal dart that hides behind the buckle:

The lined bodice:

And finally, I’m trying out new labels:

Conclusion: Another cute dress for daily wear. It fits quite nicely and it looks great with brown accessories and shoes (pictures of me in the dress later because now I’m too tired).

See you soon!

ETA: I forgot to say that I skipped the back zipper; it is not necessary for this model.

Que lindo! Essa cor valoriza muito o modelo. Pormenores impecáveis como sempre.
Também gosto das etiquetas novas.
E gostei de saber do pormenor do fecho, afinal dispensável, é sempre bom ouvir as peritas.

Tany,

Fantastic dress and one of my favorites from that issue.

Vou trabalhar no assunto!

Beijinhos!
