Fato Badgley Mischka (jaqueta e calças), bolsa Dublin:
Calças do fato Badgley Miscka e casaco vintage Christian Dior:
O detalhe do Jersey estampado do vestido:

Here is the Vanilla&Chocolate collection; the pictures were taken in a hurry (my personal photographer is a very busy person, lol), and I’d like to show some more views, but this is all I could manage.
Badgley Mischka pant suit (jacket and pants)and Dublin bag:
Badgley Miscka pants and vintage Christian Dior coat:
A casual look: Badgley Mischka pants, BWOFJan2009mod106B top and seashell necklace:
There’s a little detail that I forgot to mention when I wrote the final post on the pants: the hook and eye closure, reinforced with an extra button:
This is BWOFJan2009mod106A dress and Vogue’s Capecho #2:
A detail shot of the Jersey print of the dress:
And I almost forgot the Snow Drift Cardigan!
Conclusion: I believe this collection is classic and timeless, ideal for wearing to the office and I’m very pleased with it. I’d like to have included a few more pieces: a skirt using the remnant brown fabric and the dress of the vintage Dior ensemble – I plan on sewing both next fall. On an ideal world this collection would be completed in mid-winter and now I’d be finalizing the British Neo-Punk set which is a collection that speaks loudly to me and I feel bad not being able to present it now. Maybe next year… Judging from the fall runway shows that were presented recently, at least my black snake-like skin fabric will be a great hit so I might start off with this collection next fall, with just some minor changes depending on the inspiration at the time.
Hope you’ve enjoyed following along the Vanilla&Chocolate collection! See you next time!

Tany as always your vision and construction of the garments is immaculate! This is a very pleasing collection and I love how it has both knitted and sewn garments in it. I know you are moving onto spring/summer sewing now but it will be fun to watch you revisit this collection in the fall!

ReplyDeleteSuch an inspiring collection for those of us to sew randomly! Beautiful work, all the outfits look great on you.
ReplyDeleteWhat a chic wardrobe! It's perfection, as always. I llvoe the print of the jersey dress. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteGulp... Gulp... (wanna have! some of the pieces....)
ReplyDeleteIt really turned out beautiful, Tany. What I really like is the fact that you incorporated knitted items into this collection.... maybe I should start doing this as well and not just start knitting. It might save some frogging... :-)
Tany,
ReplyDeleteYou do such wonderful pieces. It is always a joy to see what you're working on. I can hardly wait to see the next pieces.

ReplyDeleteThank you for the fashion show. I love everything you made here.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on conceiving and creating such a beautiful collection.
Tany, as always, BEAUTIFUL!!! I love your work!

Absolutely stunning and inspiring! I have been following you blog for a while but not left a comment before - had to say something!! I followed the link through to Crochet by Jane for details about your fantastic Dublin bag - is there any way to view the instructions in English? I would love to make one but can't understand it at all Lol!
ReplyDeleteGreat collection! This will work so well for the transitional season - the brown is a bit softer than the usual black.
Abraços do Brasil,

Simplesmente Lindo!
Beijinhos
