EN: I've been really into vests lately; for this particular vest I based myself on the same instructions video from my previous blue knitted vest, but with a couple of alterations. I wanted a slightly oversized design with a turtleneck this time around so I gauged up (4mm/5mm needles, US6 and 8) plus used a thicker yarn. I made the vest 4" longer and widened the ribbing at the armholes and neckline (armholes: 11 rounds; neckline: 17 rounds).

EN: I kept the deep armholes from the original pattern on this version.EN: One of the characteristics of this "knitted on the round" pattern is the absence of side seams:
EN: there aren't no shoulder seams either because back and front are weaved in together, not stitched (as demonstrated in this video tutorial):
EN: Here's a close-up of the collar:
Ah, Fetching - a blast from the past! I made a couple of pairs of those a number of years ago; one was a gift and the other I still wear. Great pattern. Nice work with the mitts and the sweater. :)
