No lado “tricotadeiro” da vida… - On the knitting side of life…

Bem, algumas de vocês devem estar fartas de ler sobre costura no Couture ET TRICOT (espero que não sejam muitas a sentirem-se assim!)! De facto o meu tricô tem tido um lugar de segundo plano e o ritmo tem sido baixo, uma vez que estou a passar uma fase em que a costura toma a maior parte do meu tempo livre. Isso não significa que não esteja a fazer tricô, devagarinho e de vez em quando! O projecto que tenho em mãos é este casaquinho do catálogo Automne 1 da Phildar:

OK, some of you must be really tired of reading about sewing in this blog (I hope there aren't many readers feeling this way...)! It's a fact that lately my knitting work has fallen into second plan because my sewing has taken almost every free moment in my life… So the pace is slow but that doesn't mean that I haven't been knitting; just that there isn't much progress to report. I've been knitting once in a while and I'm currently working on this Phildar Jacket (from the "Automne 1" book):

É um projecto relativamente fácil e rápido (as agulhas são de 8mm!), todo feito em ponto meia do avesso (excepto a beirinha das frentes que tem duas malhas em liga para não enrolar).
This is an easy and quick project (8mm needles!), all in reverse stockinette (except for the front edge last two stitches that are in purl to create some kind of ribbing).

Como podem ver, os fios são mesmo da Phildar; quando encomendei o catálogo, também comprei os fios para o modelo original e as agulhas (que não têm barbela, mas mesmo assim não tive dificuldade em usá-las). Neste momento tenho as costas e uma das frentes pronta, estou a começar a outra frente e hoje vou comprar os botões e as molas que preciso para este projecto!
As you can see I'm using the original yarn from Phildar; I ordered it together with the pattern book and the 8mm needles (which don’t feature the hook like the ones I'm used to but I did ok with them afterall). At this point I have the back and one of the fronts already finished and I'm at the beginning of the other front. Today I plan on going to the notions shop and by the buttons and snaps for this jacket!
