I have no idea of the prices for the Q5,... But it sounds expensive to me. Maybe you can look it up in Spain; the prices are considerably lower there,...Tanyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01073735708031525696noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1707374644461378032.post-10166923163510698902020-12-29T13:15:23.249+00:002020-12-29T13:15:23.249+00:00Hello ,

Given the fact that everything in Switzerland is expensive, the price tag is 2000 Swiss Franc (US$ 2250). I’ve read your review and I feel confident... my only curiosity is “Am I paying too much?” .. I couldn’t find on your blog the price for your machine.. can you enlighten me please..
Thank you in advance
RoseRosiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09878453839418765151noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1707374644461378032.post-32099257698401928562018-04-30T14:07:05.653+01:002018-04-30T14:07:05.653+01:00Thank you all for the comments! I know now that I will continue to use just one foot because I can't feel comfortable using both feet,...
KittyMeow: Perhaps the wider needs adjustment or may have to be replaced; I know the regular winders that were installed on the side of the sewing machine have an adjustment screw that regulates the amount of thread until the lever jumps off,... I will have to study these top loading ones to see if that is also possible.Tanyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01073735708031525696noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1707374644461378032.post-20405222389361313092018-04-29T09:01:08.611+01:002018-04-29T09:01:08.611+01:00Ah you made a great choice I think! And the nifty tech bits with the USB charger - that is very cool!

My bobbin winder is the same actually, though I am having an issue with it at the moment where the little lever that sits against the thread which is supposed to flick off when the bobbin is full actually flicks away too early. So I cant wind a whole bobbin unless I hold the lever against the thread. Dont know why this is happening - so annoying! I've tried dicking with the bolts and the tension but I dont want to mess with it too much.

I wouldn't worry too much about sewing with two feet! I have never done that and not sure what the benefit is actually?
KittyMeowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08234505506035303913noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1707374644461378032.post-18325446070984157062018-04-24T22:20:24.411+01:002018-04-24T22:20:24.411+01:00A new toy to play with! I think you should do whichever is most comfortable for you. There is no rule that you must use two feet just because the treadle is wide enough for two.LisaBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01006819220069426357noreply@blogger.com
