I have been thinking and rethinking my options on this subject and I was considering interfacing pocket flaps and belts without interfacing SAs already. My next entry on the Orwell Coat will explore this issue. This is the second time I’ve ever considered not doing this (interfacing facings and upper collar)! The first time, I was dealing with faux astrakhan fur, and I couldn’t fuse interfacing on it because all the texture would be gone with the heat/moisture! For the Orwell coat I believe the fabric will hold well its shape without this, but I can be wrong… Testing is the word and I will make some more tests before I make a final decision. It feels good knowing that someone is reading my writings and giving me feedback on them.Tanyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01073735708031525696noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1707374644461378032.post-1916077148058313392007-01-14T16:28:00.000+00:002007-01-14T16:28:00.000+00:00Thanks for the detailed log on the Orwell coat.You...Thanks for the detailed log on the Orwell coat. You are putting some of us to shame.I wonder if a lighter interfacing sans (without)the seam allowance would work for the upper collar and facing?<br />Keep up the great work on your blogAbihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07639758894743740285noreply@blogger.com
